Here, &#8220;Sudistes&#8221;, as we are called, live the real Provence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ollioules: A medieval village in the Var district<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The village has been endowed with the honorary titles of &#8220;City &amp; Crafts&#8221; and one of the most &#8220;Beautiful Detours of France&#8221;. Ollioules greets us at the foot of its feudal castle. She invites us to discover, above its stream and fountains, art workshops, and a colorful farmers market. We will wander the alleyways of the medieval quarter, look at ancient houses and tell stories. Finally, we reach the castle at the foot of the &#8220;Big Brain&#8221; ridge. We catch our breathe to the tales of lords and counts of the past. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We use an ancient but well marked trail to the plateau of Gros Cerveau, a limestone mountain towering over the village. From there, we have non-stop views of fortresses, the gorges of Ollioules and the entire bay of Toulon. Must see.
