CANNES

Cinema City

From a sleepy fishing village to the red carpet

Once, before millionaire yachts, fishing boats moored in the bay between the reeds. So how did this happen? How did we get to the Carlton Hotel and the red carpet? And what did the man with the iron mask do here?

MORE PRECISELY

We begin our tour at the old port, inhabiting luxury yachts. We will slowly ascend to the oldest neighborhood in Cannes. As we reach the highest point in the city, a beautiful view of the city will spread before our eyes. At the top, we visit the old church which still holds some secrets. As we go back down, we will stop to look at the old prison and ask: Who was here, in Cannes?

Now that we’ve built up our appetite, we visit the famous market and taste local dishes from Provence and the Riviera. We continue to wander through the picturesque street with a variety of tempting shops. At the we connect to the famous palace housing the legendary film festival, we cannot miss the opportunity to place our own two feet on the red carpet.
