MONACO & MONTE CARLO

Shore excursion from Cannes to Monaco for groups

Of Luxury and Glamor

Monaco, Monaco, so small and crowded and yet makes a lot of noise. The oldest dynasty in Europe, to this day holds the “rock” of Monaco. Who conquered the rock? Who got bored? And who is buried here? Countless heirs, intrigues, and headlines. Monaco is steeped in legends about princes and princesses, car racing, James Bond movies, tax havens, and liquid cash. Come hear all the juicy stories and the biggest secrets of the Monegasque princesses.

MORE PRECISELY

We will start the tour at the port of Cannes where we will meet and get on the bus. Travel about 1:15 hours to Monaco. On the way, we will observe the coastline from the high serpentine road and finally park on “the rock of Monaco”. As we exit the parking lot, we will be impressed by the most beautiful building in Monaco – the Oceanographic Museum.

We continue up the street along beautifully manicured gardens. Eventually we stop in front of the famous church where Grace Kelly got married and where she is buried alongside other nobles of Monaco. We will continue to the Palace Square where the Prince of Monaco lives. Here we are treated to a spectacular view of the rich bay. We ‘finish the rock’ by wandering through the streets of the Old City.

Finally, we will head for the world famous Casino of Monte Carlo. We can try our luck in the gambling room (optional). At last, we bask in the most famous café in Monaco and admire vehicles of the upper echelon that will flood the plaza before us.
